EDA (N.I.) provides a confidential one-to-one support service for those personally affected by an eating disorder, as well as their family and friends.

Our centre has an open-door policy, and last year we provided assistance to over 900 people who came into the centre for advice, information and support. Our one-to-one support service provides a lifeline to many individuals who simply do not know where else to turn. It provides a safe space with which individuals affected by the illness can begin to think about their experiences, their thoughts, their feelings and their recovery from the illness. It also provides a much needed space for carers/family members to express their feelings in a safe and contained environment. Our one-to-one service is available to both children and adults and sessions can take place any time between 10am and 330pm, Monday to Friday. It is important to note that our services are not an alternative to professional support.

If you would like to avail of this service please do not hesitate to contact us and we can arrange a suitable time.
