About Eating Disorders
Anyone can develop an eating disorder, regardless of age, sex, cultural or racial background, although the people most likely to be affected tend to be young women, particularly between the ages of 15 and 25. It is not unusual, however, for an eating disorder to develop in middle age.
It is important to know that not everyone will have the same symptoms. Some people will have a mix of symptoms and you do not need to have all these symptoms to have an eating disorder.
